These are just a few of our favourite places for you to visit:

BATTLE OF CHERITON SITE 0.0 miles - The Battle of Cheriton took place to the east of Winchester on 29th March 1644, at the height of the Civil War. Here, Royalists fought Parliamentarians for effective control of central southern England. In 2005, a walking trail around the battlefield was established, starting and ending at The Hinton Arms so you can walk the walk today, and pop in to warm up afterwards!
